The American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association has recently released an updated physical activity recommendation for adults.
Moderate intensity aerobic physical activity ( heart rate 40-60%) for a minimum of 30 minutes five days a week, or vigorous intense physical activity (60-80% heart rate) for a minimum of 20 minutes, three days a week.
